Just up the road and down a hill from the world famous Brands Hatch racing circuit, on the London Road in Kent, is a rather tired looking building set back from the road which is home to The Oakdene Cafe. Wednesday evening is the time to visit the Oakdene if you are a Kent Biker, This is when the Oakdene Café comes alive and is one of the biggest bike meet ups in the South East. In the peak of summer you will see hundreds of bikers here and on the adjacent lay-by which usually has lorry's parked in.

There’s been a cafe here for nearly a hundred years. Over those years from around the 1970's the cafe has become home to the main biker meet in Kent. If you are a biker then you must head down to The Oakdene on a Wednesday evening. It's a great friendly social atmosphere and it really is part of the Kent biking community. Many motorcycle groups based in Kent use this location as a meeting point. Massive shout going out to The Oakdene Cafe.


Bybrook Barn Garden Centre

Canterbury Road, Ashford, Kent, TN24 9JZ The Riverview Diner is an American Diner that was brought to England in 2001 and now lives in Ashford. The owners have tried to continue the Diner vibe where people from all backgrounds can hang out and can get everything from a slap up meal to a decent brew.


H’s Cafe

at Kent Motorcycles, Dover Road (A2), Barham, Canterbury, Kent CT4 6SA Open seven days a week from 7:30am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 5:00pm on Saturday and 8:00am to 4:00pm on Sunday. Between the months of March and October the cafe stays open until 9:00pm on Wednesdays to cater for the famous bike meetings.
